As a well-known outdoor brand, our snowshoes are one of our top sellers. At Woods, we have tested our gear and apparel, including snowshoes, in the remote regions of northern Canada and the Arctic for decades upon decades, dating back to the late 1800s. Woods has a storied past equipping some of the most legendary polar explorers in history, including Roald Amundsen, the leader of the first expedition to successfully traverse the Northwest Passage and the first to reach the South Pole in 1911. When you shop with us, you’re reaping the benefits of over 135 years of testing and development in some of the most inhospitable and rugged wilderness on Earth. Rest easy, our snowshoes will withstand even the wildest of adventures.

We offer several different models of snowshoes in a variety of sizes, and both standalone snowshoes and snowshoe bundles with adjustable trekking poles are available.

Our classic Outbound Snowshoes are an excellent budget or entry-level option, with a lightweight aluminum frame for a stable platform and natural stride, coupled with high-density polyethylene for maximum flotation. The adjustable Posi Lock binding offers quick strap changes for a secure, snug fit that can easily be adjusted.

The all-new Women's Balsam Snowshoes, meanwhile, sport thick EVA protective padding and a stout plastic decking, with heel lifts for a more natural stride on uphill terrain. Additionally, the strong integrated crampon allows for a reliable grip on ice and packed snow. The all-new Men's Sycamore Snowshoes sport a more linear build with many of the same standout features as the Balsams. If you’re looking for snowshoes, whether entry-level or top-end, you’ll find them here at Woods.
